I became a GM because

I first discovered tabletop games as a player, and from that very first session, I was hooked. The adventure and creativity at the table left me energized and inspired. As much fun as I had playing, I found myself wanting to tell my own stories and build my own worlds.

How Jeff runs games

My GM style is player-driven. I want all of the player at the table to have some type of connection to the world and story that i'm telling. I really enjoyed using maps for combat encounters.

My games focus on...

I love creating stories that feel alive and connected to the players at the table. I’m always looking for ways to weave characters’ backstories and choices into the world—whether that’s through meaningful NPCs, personal plot hooks, or shifting events that react to what the party does.

Rules are...

For me, the rules are a framework—not a cage. I believe in the Rule of Cool: if it makes the story more fun, cinematic, or gives a player their spotlight moment, I’ll bend the rules to make it happen. Dice and mechanics are important, but they should never get in the way of fun at the table.

Jeff's ideal table

My ideal table is one where everyone enjoys each other’s company and feels welcome. Experience level doesn’t matter—whether you’re brand new to the game or a long-time veteran, what matters most to me is that everyone is having fun together. As long as the table is full of laughter, creativity, and good vibes, that’s the perfect game in my book.

If you're into ___, you're going to love my table

f you’re into grimdark adventures with a touch of horror—but also enjoy those quieter moments to breathe, laugh, and explore the world—then you’re going to love my table.

I love it when a player

I love it when a player surprises me with a creative choice—whether it’s an unexpected plan, a clever solution, or just outsmarting the situation in front of them. Those moments keep the game fresh and exciting, and I enjoy leaning into the story twists that come from player ingenuity.
