I became a GM because
I fell in love with RPG's like Dishonored at a young age, but I felt like the games didn't give me enough freedom. Eventually, in a Jacksepticeye playthrough of life is strange beyond the storm I saw d&d for the first time! I fell in love with the idea, and started searching for ways to play it!
My favorite books are
The Unwanteds series, they always felt like my own personal Harry Potter, made for me and me only! It has similarities to Narnia and LOTR but with dystopian vibes!
The three words my players would use to describe me are...
Chaotic, Goofy, Accommodating
How Kade runs games
I love creating worlds with fantastical elements, allowing players to choose which plot hooks to follow within points of interest. I enjoy creating encounters filled with multiple (sometimes secret) objectives, usually tied to characters backstories or important plot points, but improvising combats when players make unexpectedly dangerous choices is very fun! PC death is something I enjoy playing with, but I usually allow ways back, either through lopsided deals, or sometimes coming back undead! Magic is usually my favorite part of RPG's, and when I GM, I usually allow all players to attempt magic in creative ways, with magically powered pro's and con's imbedded! For example I like to allow players to modify the way their spell acts, or to cast spells they might not be able to with their class, via rolls or roleplayed actions! If you are one of my players, just let me know how you want your game/story to go, and ill do my best to accommodate everyone accordingly!

I deal with rules issues by...
Double checking rules, usually only takes a second online, or, if time is against me, I just follow the one holy rule of TTRPG's... The custome-- I mean the GM is always right! But honestly, we can always talk it out, its a game of togetherness after all yo, and I'm happy to bend rules for the vibes
If my games were Movies they'd be directed by...
Edgar wright! The Cornetto trilogy is my favorite, and I feel like Edgar Wright would get my dry and chaotic vibes without neglecting the goofy bits!
When it comes to voices
I usually do them without thinking heavily about them, and i have no clue if they suck or rock, I honestly didn't remember doing voices the last time someone asked me about them, I think I might be getting possessed or some thing.... Boo!
Kade's ideal table
I like having fun, and making others laugh, so I usually run a pretty unserious table, with some spooky or visceral descriptions spread throughout in order to change up the vibe/pace! I like to homebrew stuff all the time, and rules are very bendable in favor of fun! We'll talk about triggers and such in session 0's, but I personally am okay with talk of violence, gore, and a little bit of sensuality/sexuality as long as its kept respectful. (I am also extremely willing to dodge these topics if its preferred!) But absolutely no talk of sexual violence, xenophobia, racism, or just general creep crap, y'know! The story can be dark and even edgy without going to such intense and topical extremes.

If you're into ___, you're going to love my table
Dimension 20, Critical Role, NADDpod, or World's Beyond Number I enjoy the silly and serious nature of these shows, as well a the kind and respectful vibes the cast give off!
I love it when a player
Asks questions about literally anything! I describe whatever scene pops into my brain, a lot of it improvised, and I really enjoy improvising off my previous improvisations in response to questions and rolls! Also take notes! I sometimes forget about in the moment decisions but PC notes remind me!
I think min/maxing...
is great if you RP it right! Just make sure you have an interesting or at least fun way of describing your min/maxxed strength! My combats usually have ways out beyond just fighting and I can always make my guys way stronger if needed! The rules are bendable and homebrew rocks!
