How His Name Was Dusk runs games
When I run campaigns, whether from scratch or out of the box, I take care to ensure the plots are centered around the Player Characters, creating a world where the characters themselves and their decisions drive the story, not stuck to the written lore or campaign book. I am a big fan of player-based world building, so will ask a lot of questions about your characters and their cultures and then flesh out the world similarly as we keep playing.
