About Xavier

Hello and well met Adventurer! I am but a humble guide to the world of intrigue that is Dungeons and Dragons! I have been playing for about 3 years and have been dabbling in running games over the past 2 years. Yes, I quickly fell deeply into the Lore of Faerun and couldn't help but get behind the screen just to see and use more of it! I find my sweet spot for GMing to be in the Epic/Heroic Fantasy genre. If you enjoy games that are deeply rooted in a highly variable and immersive setting then I say look no further than the Forgotten Realms! As a newer Game Master, I always appreciate having experienced players around for their Wisdom acquired through prior games. I got started GMing...

... because I realized how many players had no place to go as well as how many DMs had very little choice in their seat at the table. After several attempts to get started, I finally sound my style and comfort zone and have been striving to run the best game every game since then!

People are always surprised when I tell them

I have only been playing and DMing for a relatively short time, 3 years or so. I continually get feedback saying that my outward appearance, grasp of game concepts and overall lore knowledge should represent me having several years more time at the table than I do in reality, even my own veteran DMs

When I'm not running games I'm...

Typically, I can be found enjoying a suite of Anime or Something a little older but Live Action. I have a few hermetic tendencies but make sure to spend my time creating as well as being entertained. Good thing for me is, I have several dogs that get plenty of attention whether inside or out.

How Xavier runs games

I favor a variety game that touches all the pillars of adventure with sincere Roleplay and Intense Combat. I prefer to let my players take direct charge of any situation they find themselves presented with or in the middle of. Player Agency and Immersive Storytelling are my two biggest Focuses when planning a game. If I had to tell you about my games in one plain sentence it would be this... "If you expect DnD to feel like the Epic Story you never knew YOU could write, then come to a game run by me."
