About me

There is mystery afoot and danger in the air, and as gaseous lights fade and the clouds pass you by, you find yourself in need of an adventure to slake your wanderlust; worry not, traveler, for you have found it. About me: Howdy! My name is Ameen (he/him), and I've been Dming for just over seven years now, and I love RPGs! Ever since I could hold a stick that looked kind of like a sword, I wanted to go on adventures, but when I discovered just how much fun making them was, it became a whole new obsession. When I'm not running DnD games for friends, I can be found writing homebrew content and short stories, replaying the Baulder's Gate beta, and desperately trying to finish the Wheel of Time. I run homebrew and standard campaigns and one-shots for both DnD, V5, and more! I'm always excited to try new systems, and I'm enough of a lore-nerd to know most of them in a few hours. I'm a player-focused GM, with an emphasis on building a narrative via a mix of plot and player autonomy. As such, expect a good amount of sandboxing in my games. I would love to run you and your friends through the pallid plains of icewind dale, the blood-soaked streets of Anarch LA, or the incomprehensible inclines of R'lyeh.

GM Style

I use theater of the mind for most scenes, with combat being a player's choice of Talespire, Owlbear rodeo, or tarrasque.io. I want to foster an inclusive environment in my games, where player choice and cooperative play are valued and respected and I will list any themes or phobias my game may touch on beforehand. These games are all about telling stories that you want to tell with friends, and as such, expect a greater narrative focus in my games. Lore competency varies between games, and players who just want to kill things and get money are absolutely welcome at my table. New and veteran players alike are welcome, and weather you've never picked up a dice before or have your favorite set tattooed on the back of your rolling hand, I'm more than excited to have you at my table!
