About Dooby
I am a Special Needs Educator, Audio Engineer and lifelong TTRPG enthusiast with over 10 years of experience behind the screen. When I’m not running games, I operate a boutique mobile recording studio specializing in alternative and extreme music. I bring that same "high-fidelity" intensity to my tables! As an educator, I pride myself on creating a positive, inclusive, and adaptable environment. Whether you are a veteran player or brand new to the hobby, I specialize in tailoring the experience to the players at the table. Expect total narrative freedom, and a supportive atmosphere. (And yes, I’m a huge animal lover :P)

How Dooby runs games
Expect a positive, high-energy atmosphere that thrives on creative thinking. We lean heavily into social roleplay, mysteries, and puzzles—giving every player the spotlight they deserve. If you’re looking for a supportive space to let your character truly shine, you’re in the right place. I’m a firm believer in the Rule of Cool. While I use the rules as a solid foundation to keep the game fair and grounded, they aren't the 'end-all, be-all.' If you have a cinematic, daring idea that pushes the story forward in an epic way, we’re going with the moment that makes the table cheer. Narrative momentum will always take priority over a technicality. I am a huge fan of player choice, nothing is off the table so long as all the others at the table are comfortable with whats happening.

My favorite trope is...
Moral ambiguity. Sometime you will hate the "good guys," sympathize with the "bad guys," and realize that sometimes, there really are no correct solutions.
Rules are...
To be referenced not lived by.
When it comes to voices
...Mine are terrible- so expect a lot of them!
Dooby's ideal table
Players who ask questions about the details of the environment around them and aren't afraid to make mistakes. No one is super worried about the rules; when they see someone else is uncomfortable, things are toned back without needing intervention. People who can remember this is a game of make-believe and it's more important to have fun than to "be cool." A place where people are excited not only for the game each week but to kick it with each other.

I love it when a player
Isn't afraid to chew the scenery, ask the hard questions, or flesh out the location's details to make the world feel alive.
I think it's a red flag when players...
Can't read the room/ignores warnings refusing to respect the table's safety tools. We are here to have fun—if someone is uncomfortable and a player refuses to tone it back, that’s where the game ends for them
