I have been roleplaying for decades and have run events at conventions like GenCon, GameHole Con and many local cons. I ran Call of Cthulhu multiple years for Chaosium and actually ran FUDGE events way back when. I enjoy players having fun overcoming challenges and roleplaying their characters.

How Gary runs games
I keep mechanics lightweight and narrative-driven, emphasizing story outcomes over crunch. I prefer roleplaying over strategy playing. Good stories sometimes have people doing actions that might not be best for the character but reflect their PC's nature. It is great to say what your PC says.
