About Duz

A guy who loves a good story as much as good combat. Been running games pretty casually for a few years (give or take 5 years), mostly Dungeons and Dragons in my own settings and modules for friends. I improvise when I can/should so I hope we can get along and get some fun games. I take a lot of inspiration from other media like MTG, Warhammer, Yugioh, anime, etc. and things of similar nature to make games.

I became a GM because

I found it fun to create worlds and to narrate events and places for friends, to envision worlds beyond and to do funny and serious voices.

I got started GMing...

watching Dimension 20 from Dropout, Brennan is my icon when it comes to DnD

My favorite system of all Time is

Dungeons and Dragons 5e, its very simple and innovative and you can pretty much add onto it however much you need for whatever you table is in need of.

How Duz runs games

I'd consider my playstyle as a DM to be consistent to the setting and theme's we are engaging in. In hardcore campaigns I will be strict about what is happening and set precedents when they come up. For more loose campaigns we can take things a bit more lax when needed. I will be consistent with rules unless something new is popped up. I try not to deal with random encounters unless necessary, critical rolls are the be-all-end-all in discussions unless otherwise stated.

My games focus on...

The Story. It matters above nearly all else. Its not a proper D&D game without a compelling story to keep players engaged and entertained after all.
