About cosa
Hey there, my name is Constantine but you can just call me cosa. Back when I was a young lad, I was able to dip my pinky toe into 3.5 with a few of my siblings. The truth was I was too young to understand the nuance but the thrill of adventure and magic called to me incessantly all throughout high school and beyond. Fast forward, now I’m an adult moving out to the mountains from the east coast and am looking for a way to keep in touch with my family and my friends. Since those fateful days almost 5 years ago, I’ve run an online campaign consistently for that entire time. I wanted to diversify, so I ran a group in person for some work friends and now we are well into our second campaign with that same group. I love running for anyone, from any walk of life. In my campaigns, expect engaging NPCs, deep lore, consequences and many encounters of different varieties. I pride myself on being able to develop situations that can’t or won’t be solved by hitting it really hard. On the contrary, expect engaging combat that makes sense and is fair. Monsters are strong but you are stronger, prove it! I do not fudge dice rolls; they will speak fate’s intentions for us. I design all homebrew worlds but the rules are true to what’s written with a few exceptions such as critical hit and action economy tweaks. My style boils down to three things I want to achieve: 1: the player feels cool and powerful 2: the player’s actions have consequences 3: make the player’s backstories have a place in the world and story we tell together. I’ll see you all at the table! All material not used from WotC is solely written by me WITHOUT the use or aid of AI platforms like ChatGPT.

How cosa runs games
I enjoy setting my players into a position where they can collaboratively tell a story with the other players. Information and knowledge will be available to delve as far deep or shallow as one desires. In combat, expect tough but fair fights, tactical in nature. Not every situation the players encounter can be solved by committing violent acts and certain choices in that vein can have very real consequences for players.

I once ran a session...
That lasted 8 hours! It involved fighting Zariel herself and greek-fire nuking an entire warcamp.
My favorite trope is...
Powerful heroes destined to do powerful things!
Rules are...
A template that guides the game but doesn't have the final say.
cosa's ideal table
While I enjoy playing with brand new players, most of the time you will find experienced players at my table. Experience comes in many different flavors; some people excel in roleplay and enjoy taking a backseat to combat and other players vice versa. There is a time and a place for every flavor of experience in my campaigns. Expect to be actively included in every scenario, I follow a strict no player left behind mentality. I focus on building a world where there is lore and fleshed out answers to the questions you may have about it. I built a massive playground of world-building where my players may indulge in as little or as much information as possible. My only hard request is to understand the lore of where you come from. For example, if your character is a scholar of geography but doesn't know the major kingdom names, perhaps a different background is in order. The overall mood of my tables is usually easy-going, attentive and engaged. There is plenty of time to joke and goof off but there will be serious moments that deserve undivided attention. This is a symbiotic system. If you engage with me and the content I write for us, expect to see your backstory appear and the world to be relevant to your character. I have a strong bias towards collective story-telling.
