Hey there! I'm a UK-based GM with a strong focus on narrative games across a range of genres. I run both pre-written modules and homebrew content, providing players with a wide variety of options in terms of the type of game they want to play. While I always want to see your characters succeed at whatever they are trying to do, the stakes are often high, with just enough peril to keep things interesting. I have a deep love of storytelling with many years of experience running one-shots and campaigns, and cannot wait to begin our next adventure, only this time featuring you.

GM Style

I adjust my style based on the group and the game we're playing, letting the players set the level of roleplay involved. A few things hold true across all my games, however: 1) Shared storytelling. No matter how crunchy the system is, there will always be some kind of plot for you to engage with, not just a series of encounters. 2) Meaningful combat. Just like in real life, combat takes place for a reason, not just for the sake of it. This means that players who wish to avoid confrontation can generally do so, or can come up with ways of winning the fight without having to bludgeon anyone to death. Of course, if you do want to go toe-to-toe with the enemy, there's nothing stopping you! 3) Imposing antagonists. The big bad should be used sparingly, as otherwise they become just another enemy. If we're playing a campaign, you might only encounter the Borg twice or Cthulhu once, but the adventure that they appear in will be one of the most memorable sessions that we have.
