About Chris Mepham

Hey there, I am Chris a GM/Storyteller with 30 years of TTRPG experience. As a member of the LGBTQIA+ community safety and inclusion are very much part of what I want to create around the table. And I am looking to create some story forward adventures for people where we can enjoy a good tale and roll some maths rocks. I am open to helping newer or less experienced players through their first adventures as well as having more experienced players come and find new stories to tell. If you would like to see what I am like as a DM you can actually catch me Live on Some Other Heroes (@SomeOtherHeroes) on Twitch and Youtube where I have the honour of DMing an ongoing campaign weekly. Presently I am going to be running D&D 5th Edition games using published materials and some homebrew but I am looking to branch out into more systems through the year.

How Chris Mepham runs games

I love story driven narratives particularly around characters. I really enjoy Role Play, but don't think you have to be a professional actor to be in my games, I am excited to see the story you bring and help you have fun. I am great at "yes - and?" situations and one of my specialisms is creating detailed and fun scenarios on the fly as well as endearing NPC's and lore. My fun is very much helping you have fun as well and finding ways to make ways for everyone at the table feel included and part of the story.
