About Chandelerion
I got into Trpg's in Highschool and have been in love with them ever since. I love creating intense situations and seeing what players come up with in the heat of the moment. I've always been inspired by the creativity of the players and GM's I've been in games with; and the stories that emerge from the rolls of dice are second to none in my opinion.

I became a GM because
I love to tell stories, and I love when I don't always know how those stories will go. Being a writer makes it hard to be truly surprised with a lot of things, but ttrpg's never fail to break my expectations. In a good way most of the time.
I got started GMing...
During my Sophomore year of high school. It was 2017, the D&D5e bug had just bitten me and my friends but our first DM couldn't run after two sessions. Then I appeared, holding a pencil in one hand, and Homemade GM screen in the other. That first campaign wasn't perfect but it was a lot of fun!
My favorite books are
Sanderson's Cosmere is my favorite world building thing ever. Patrick Rothfuss has my favorite writing style. and Brent weeks is the perfect fusion between the two. Basically, I'm a huge fantasy fan, but I'll read anything if I even remotely interesting. Sci-fi, romance, textbooks. ANYTHING.
How Chandelerion runs games
I like to create an immersive experience for my players. I focus on ensuring the world reacts to your choices in fun and believable ways. Cause and Effect is something I think that ttrpgs excel at, and I try to bring that strength to the front. As far as rules go, I like to reward player creativity so if you have an idea that only "technically" follows the rules, I'll probably allow it. I'll never chuck the rulebook completely, but if your idea is more exciting, I'll bend things pretty far! As far as Roleplaying, I'm a massive fan. I love seeing people embody their characters and I try to make the npc's come alive to facilitate that.

I deal with rules issues by...
making a call and agreeing to revisit the specific rules in the future. I think game rules are important, but not so important we need to slow down the entire game. I'm all about keeping the energy moving.
I once ran a session...
where my players were confronted by a major villain and trapped her inside a magic bag they then turned into a jjk prison realm. She remained trapped in their for like 6 sessions... I love these games.
My games focus on...
the situations and player choice. I make every effort to allow players to solve problems in their own creative ways. Players move and the world reacts, a beautiful cycle.
Chandelerion's ideal table
A group of people excited about each other's characters and the story we can all tell together through the game. If you come to the table excited to engage with the world and your fellow players, that's perfect.

I am for a vibe that's...
collaborative. ttrpg's are about telling a story together! I love when I get to see PC's really come alive and find solutions to problems together.
I love it when a player
asks questions and engages with the answers. I love seeing people really lean into the game and get invested in their character's relationships and goals.
My table is not the place for...
isolated power fantasies. We're here to tell a story about everyone at the table. Trying to hog the spotlight takes away from that.
