I got started GMing...
at an early age with the classic D&D Red Box. I loved drawing maps, building worlds, and creating characters, and I still do. Over the years I’ve run every version of D&D, World of Darkness and many other titles, refining along the way.
How Brian runs games
My games are open and player driven, but there is always an overarching narrative. Players are free to pursue their own goals while the world moves forward. Most of my games are loosely based on published settings, but I enjoy building the rest from the ground up instead of leaning on published modules, improvising when needed. Many of them lean toward dramatic storytelling, horror, and high fantasy, with a good helping of humor.

If my games were Movies they'd be directed by...
Ridley Scott. His films portray vast, often hostile worlds where survival, morality, and power collide. Like Scott, my games focus on atmosphere, tension, and characters navigating dangerous worlds that feel real and unforgiving.
Brian's ideal table
My table welcomes players of all backgrounds and experience levels, from new players learning the game to veterans looking for a story driven experience. The best groups are collaborative and willing to engage with the characters and story around them. Players who enjoy pursuing their own goals and contributing to the story will feel right at home.
