About Proxy - CardstockCaster

What makes me special as a GM? My dedication not only to your characters, but the narrative, worldbuilding, and feel of the game. I want my players to be immersed in the game and connected with the characters, while also feeling safe at my table. Here at my table, I apply multiple safety methods to keep players feeling comfortable (taking triggers into account to narrative, X card, and establishing safety rules). My table is meant to be safe to minorities. I aspire to create a game every time where players feel their characters exist outside the main plot, trying to give down time and open ended player options when possible. If you're looking for a combat heavy dungeon crawl, I am definitely not the GM for you. I want you all to feel included in the setting, establishing NPCs and places you're from. At my tables, the GM is a player just as much as you guys, and I want everyone to be having fun. I am homebrew/third party friendly, and if we can't find something you like in official game, we can work together on finding a fun but balanced option for the table. I have a large collection of third party options for some of the games I run, so be sure to ask. If you're looking for a narrative driven GM with dedication to both the world and your characters, I'm the GM for you.

How Proxy - CardstockCaster runs games

To repeat what i said earlier, "I aspire to create a game every time where players feel their characters exist outside the main plot, trying to give down time and open ended player options when possible. If you're looking for a combat heavy dungeon crawl, I am definitely not the GM for you." I have a heavy focus on narrative, and such, while you may not encounter combats often, the ones you do will put your lives in DEEP peril. I will sometimes bend the rules of the game for rule of cool, especially when it comes to things such as boss fights. I want my players to feel immersed, and excited to play.
