About Shameless
Hello, you can call me Shameless. When I first got into TTRPGs, I was roughly 17 years old. My first few games were terrible, and often ended by the third or fourth session due to heavy mismanagement from the GM. However, I was already fascinated by fantasy and roleplay that I decided to step up and be a GM myself! So now I've been GM'ing for almost 15 years, starting with DND 2e, dabbling in DND 3e and 3.5e, before finally landing in PF1e and falling in love with the system. Over the past decade I've been running games using both the raw PF1e system, as well as creating modules that use the system as a base. I've created extremely in-depth custom modules for: - 'Pokémon' (which is a total conversion of PF1e) - 'YuGiOh' (which uses 5e as a base) - 'Legend of Zelda' (which acts like an expansion of PF1e) - and 'Fire Emblem' (which is its own module that mimics the gameplay of the series). I frequently stream my games on Twitch; However, I am not opposed to simply letting games be private if my playerbase requests such a thing.

My favorite system of all Time is
...Pathfinder (1st edition). Why? I feel it's the perfect balance between number-crunching, engaging combat, and extensive roleplay, as the system allows for as much player-freedom as possible when it comes to building and designing characters.
When I'm not running games I'm...
...either playing various RPGs and/or Strategy Games (with Fromsoft titles being my favorite), or working on the design of the next session(s) I may or may not have.
How Shameless runs games
Things to expect in my games: - All games are done through VC, and a camera is never required. I value my player's privacy. - I do my best to divide combat-oriented and roleplay-oriented sessions evenly. Combat may be inevitable, but not a requirement to advance the story. Roleplay-oriented sessions are common, because I want my players to explore the world that has been crafted for them. "Town Square" roleplay sessions happen from time to time, as a detox from either high-stakes combat and/or heavy plot points. - Since I use Discord, I also set aside extra channels for players to roleplay in-between sessions (if they desire), as sometimes there are roleplay ideas and/or situations that arise during gameplay that simply couldn't be done in a proper session (either due to time constraints, or other factors). - Combat, when it is involved, is often both narrative-driven and difficult. This difficulty is designed to push players into learning their sheets/characters as thoroughly as possible, and to make every victory feel earned. - I am also beginner friendly, on all levels. I have a tendency to try and find players who have never played before. Most of the players I've had over the last 10 years were people who had never touched a TTRPG before.

I prep by
Crafting and mixing a custom-made playlist to set the tone for each and every session.
My games focus on...
A mixture of roleplay and combat, to which I will always inform the players which is going to be more likely before every session.
Shameless's ideal table
I try and make my table as relaxed and open as possible to all forms of players, especially new players that are either new the system(s) that I use (or new players that simply have never played a TTRPG at all)! Since I do as healthy of a mix as possible between combat and roleplay, players that thrive in either environment will always get their chance to shine at my table.

I think min/maxing...
...is overrated. The system(s) I use allows almost any kind of character idea/design to exist and thrive.
My table is not the place for...
...players who try and centralize the plot around themselves and/or their character.
