About BntyHntrKelborn
Hello! I have been a player, and a DM in DnD for years. I got into it because I can really let loose with my imagination and story telling, and I really enjoy it. I am partial to Homebrews and "Rule of Cool" but I also have a philosophy of "So can I" so keep in mind whatever outlandish things you can get away with, so can things in the world. I am also, as for pre-built or established settings partial to Forgotten Realms. Even before the days of Baldur's Gate the stories of Drizzt Dro'Urden and other characters in that setting and everything, especially in the Sword Coast really fits with my love of fantasy and meshes well with my style. I find what sets me apart is my interaction with my groups. I like to run a short After Session review after each session to make sure everyone is having a good time and to allow a space for constructive feedback on what everyone is doing well, or things to improve. Both me and the players, and players to each other. I hope you all join me!

How BntyHntrKelborn runs games
I focus on story telling and character interaction. How you describe your approach to actions can activate advantage or disadvantage in the moment so emphasize your creativity. I enjoy setting up big cinematic combats and stacking up challenging encounters that require strategy and thinking. Puzzles and Riddles are also ever present in my campaigns. I like to engage every aspect players can bring to the table. As such I use "Rule of Cool" and am very forgiving with what I allow, I have also created some heinous powerful homebrew items that I dole out on occasion. I am not the best with voices but I try, I've had some experience with vocal coaching but no serious voice acting. My strength is on improvisation and good story telling. The story is really in your hands.

I deal with rules issues by...
Listening to each side, and making a ruling that is fair to everyone. I will typically favor player benefit over hard rules.
My games focus on...
Storytelling, Rich lore and worldbuilding, Roleplaying, Intense combat, and Player agency
Rules are...
Rules are a good starting point and guideline, as well as a sometimes needed structure... but exist to be bent, broken or overturned in favor of player agency and epic moments for the story.
BntyHntrKelborn's ideal table
MY ideal table is filled with players that look ahead of their turn and prep what they might do as things develop, communicate well, avoid metagaming when possible, and enjoy telling a collaborative story. I enjoy sharing lore, so players that give me opportunities to lore dump are secretly my favorites. I like to have a fun, easy going vibe most of the time, but it can change to intense, and dramatic at any moment the setting of my world is epic and filled with intrigue, drama and suspense!
