About David
My journey into tabletop RPGs began in 2000 with Dungeons & Dragons 3.5, moving from vibrant online chat rooms to custom virtual tabletops. After a decade-long hiatus, I returned in 2014 with Pathfinder 1st Edition, navigating the shift from in-person play to the organized environment of Roll20, where my campaigns continue today. This deep history across multiple editions (D&D 3.5, Pathfinder 1E/2E, D&D 5E) and formats has equipped me with a broad understanding of TTRPG dynamics. Drawing on this experience, I have frequently stepped into the Game Master role for my group, and have been running adventures consistently for the past year. I bring adaptability, commitment, and a player-focused perspective to the GM screen. I am eager to explore new challenges, including the upcoming 2024 edition of D&D, and create compelling stories for your table.

How David runs games
I adopt a flexible, rules-light philosophy behind the screen. I use the Rules As Written (RAW) as a common starting point, ensuring structure and clarity. However, if strict adherence threatens to curb creativity or fun, I am quick to bend those rules. My ultimate aim is to create a dynamic environment that balances established structure with player spontaneity.
David's ideal table
I like to keep things fair and consistent by following the Rules As Written (RAW) as much as possible—it helps everyone know what to expect! But let's be honest, sometimes the Rule of Cool just needs to take over to make a moment truly epic and fun. My table is all about finding that sweet spot where structure meets awesome, spontaneous storytelling!
