About Ban Ragnarson

Hi, I'm Ban, biologist, gimnast and Game master. Since I found out about D&D I knew I wanted to be a dungeon master and create stories for my friends and as soon as I did so and heard everyone's feedback, I knew it was the right choice. I like to shape the world around things my friends like(or fear) and create a good story for them and their characters. I mostly will adapt everything so the characters(whatever they are) will be a main part of the plot.

How Ban Ragnarson runs games

I love a good mix between role play, combat and mistery. In my games, you will encounter difficult decisions every time, there will be hidden things, not just magical items, but information that would change how you view the situation you are in. In combat, I will try to surprise you every time, not by doing just damage, but by giving actual life and decisions to the enemies(and hostages), strategies, traps, actual response to what you have said and done. I might try to give your character some canonical events every once in a while and see how that shapes them, how they develop. In role play you will encounter a variety of personalities, some random merchants, probably someone with a deck of many things who you might encounter, stuff that might make things go differently than originally expected.

I like to have people with a good sense of humor, and who can also lock in when the situation calls for it. I will give out smooth details about stuff as time goes by, so at least one note taker is ideal.
