I am a seasoned bilingual Dungeon Master with experience on running years long campaigns and games at conventions (Gencon, Wondercon, Comic Con) and online conventions (Carnaval Rolero 2023) in English, Spanish and Spanglish. Member of the bilingual DM group called LatineLounge, that specializes in opening spaces in conventions for Spanish speaking players. I enjoy running games with all types of players, and love to introduce this extraordinary hobby to new people! Currently running: - Waterdeep Dragon Heist - Storm Kings Thunder - Tyranny of Dragons - A dark and creeping secret mini-adventure - Ad-hoc one shots!! What do players say: "Atari is fantastic! I've barely played any D&D, just watched live plays, and have been wanting to get into it for awhile. Finally took the dive and no regrets, we had the most amazing game ever! We couldn't finish it in the allocated time, so Atari set up a second session, which only half the party attended. He didn't lower the difficulty, yet we somehow prevailed and now I have a most epic tale to tell! I love how he praised creativity and let us do really cool stuff - to quote him, "Amazing--dragon slayer, knight using magic, wizard killing with daggers". 100% would recommend and play again 😄" - sarriest "This was an amazing experience for anybody of any skill level. It was fun and interactive, and left you wanting to continue playing and playing." - Kaylee "I'm not a beginner but a few of the people I played with were. Atari is very good at explaining the rules to people who are unfamiliar with DND and was very fun to play with! This was my first time going into a campaign with people I didn't know and the experience was surprisingly great." - Internet "My favorite part about playing with Atari is that he wants every player to be able to give their input and have their moment. Whether it's making sure we're all talking through full party decisions, splitting the party for different missions, or giving a player time to do something on their own, he's very adamant in asking what each player wants to bring to the scenario." - Kel "He is a knowledgeable DM, who has introduced several players to play TTRPGs and he inspired me not only to become a D&D player but also to become a DM myself. Eternally thankful to him. " - Mario I can DM for online games and physical games (currently located in Orange County CA, Los Angeles area) in English or Spanish. Looking forward to playing games! A tirar dados!
My GM style consists on immersion, rule of cool, and making sure I give every player their time to shine. I focus a lot on the players, what they want to do, but always adding some suspense and drama, to make sure the players understand that their decisions count and have consequences. My combats are tactical, but I also role play the personalities of each monster depending of their type. Being a latinx, I always add a little bit of humor to my campaigns or one shots, and try to make the session feel personal and worth of remembering to the players.
