About Anay Kharade
Hey! I'm a Game Designer and an educator with over 6 years of experience in this field. I've also been playing and GM-ing Dungeons & Dragons 5e for about 6 years now. I have experience running short & long campaigns, one-shots, anthology-adventures, and even West Marches. My focus in D&D is to find a balance among Exploration, Combat, and Social Interaction. I try my best to achieve that with efficient preparation paired with skilled improv. Also, I'm brutal with combat if players are looking for a challenge :)

How Anay Kharade runs games
I primarily love roleplay, but I also bring my Game Design experience to design challenging Combat Encounters. Combat for me is like solving a puzzle, collecting information about the enemy and the environment, and trying to use everything we can to our advantage. I try my best to deliver this experience to my players. I also thrive on social interactions, and I'm currently learning to improve my Puzzle/Mini-Games game.

I prep by
taking a power nap the night before session day
My games focus on...
Character and World exploration. With a heavy focus on RP and a medium focus on Combat. My combat scenarios are more Puzzles than a number's game.
Rules are...
fun only when all the players at the table are enjoying them!
Anay Kharade's ideal table
Players who love to explore, learn, and interact. Not just the physical world, but also during combat, during NPC interactions, etc. I love having players at the table who accommodate other players as well. Looking out for more than just their own characters.
Featured Prompts
I love it when a player
is honest and cooperative with the DM and other players at the table.
I think it's a red flag when players...
repeatedly sabotage other players without prior or spotaneous agreement
I think metagaming...
can break immersion, and the flow of the game is not used sparingly. I urge my players to avoid metagaming.
