I got started GMing...

How Alex Spielrebell runs games

As a GM, I focus on experiences with a high level of player agency in two ways: players are free to act and never encounter a fixed path on the road to adventure, and the game world evolves dynamically around the characters, as players are invited to take part in the storytelling. Conflicts of all kinds (not just combat) and moral dilemmas, suspense and mystery are my ingredients for a perfect game night.
