About Alessandro
Hi! š My GM journey started at a young age with D&D 3.5. As I traveled a lot and didnāt always have a fixed group. Since I was frequently introducing new players, I explored many systems not only to make onboarding easier but also to offer a wide variety of settings and mechanics. šIām deeply passionate about game design and development: I enjoy clever mechanics, meaningful choices in both combat and social interactions, and challenges that encourage creativity. But what I value most are the memorable adventures and shared stories that come from playing together. š»At my table, you can expect a welcoming environment, clear guidance for new players, and engaging challenges for veterans. I like to tailor the gameās pace and tone to the group balancing strategy and storytelling so everyone gets their moment to shine. Whether you want a quick one-shot to try something new or a longer campaign to dive deep into a world, Iāll make sure the journey is worth it! š„See you at the table!

I became a GM because
Because I've seen what good GMs can do and wanted to be able to create amazing experiences for my players. I also love to think and design the situations the players will face and I love to see what clever and different way they find to overcome the obstacles.
My favorite books are
...fantasy of course! But most of all the ones that take a trope and twist it in an original way. Right now I'm reading all the Brandon Sanderson massive library, love the worldbuilding, character flaws and scientific magic system.
When I'm not running games I'm...
... learning something new, crafting stuff or exploring other ways of going on an adventure: books, movies, games, travels!
How Alessandro runs games
My starting point is a blend of: - Storytelling (Do you like to roleplay lightharted moments and serious drama?) - Tactical challenges (If you want crunchy fights, just let me know š) - Creative problem-solving (Ok.. just blow up the super sealed door) Then according to your wishes and needs I'll adapt my sessions: I tailor the tone and pace to the group. I always prioritize player agency and a welcoming table.

I once ran a session...
... in front of a big public and it was incredible! I was kind of a improv-rpg: the public was the player, I narrate a story and ask them to come up with characters, names, objects, locations on the fly. They could also give me tools to give me tools to overcome situations through a magic backpack!
Rules are...
...very important to give a solid foundations that all the player understand and follow. Still, I believe rules should never get in the way of the exciting and creative situations players bring to life and I'm more than happy to bend them if the situation is asking for it!
When it comes to voices
I really like voices and also voice-sound effects!
Alessandro's ideal table
Most of all, I enjoy running games for groups that want to have fun together and collaborate to create something unique every session. I want a respectful, safe and encouraging table.
Featured Prompts
I love it when a player
does something unexpected to help another player shine, to create an interesting rapport (or conflict) with other players, or find a different solutions to problems (either combat, social or riddles)
I think metagaming...
It should be avoided but sometimes it can be difficult to do so for some players so it is possible to find strategies to incorporate it into the game
My table is not the place for...
disrispect and lone wolves that don't care what other players do or just want to control and impose their way of doing things (although a character can be a lone wolf in search of a trustworthy pack!)
