About GM Aetheric
I'm a writer and narrator, with about two years of experience with TTRPGs. My sessions are intended to provide an inclusive and welcoming environment for all players, with the added focus of crafting player-driven narratives through collaborative storytelling. Some additional information to help you decide if booking with me is right for you: -I have a professional background in creative writing and narration. -I primarily play Rules as Intended to maintain grounded, consequence-oriented gameplay. However, I want players to feel that they have the agency to make choices and take actions freely. If player has a specific action in mind outside the given rules, I work with them to create a fair ruling to facilitate that action. -I do not use any AI generated narrative content, stat blocks, encounter tables, or other gameplay assets. -Roleplay is encouraged, but it is not mandatory. I adjust my inflection to suit the situation, but I do not utilize character voices. My players are welcome to use voices/accents, as long as they are kept respectful.

How GM Aetheric runs games
Character inflection, immersive roleplay, character/NPC banter, moderate combat, grounded gameplay and consequences.

I deal with rules issues by...
making an on the spot ruling to keep gameplay moving, and researching the correct ruling and incorporating it accordingly for future sessions.
I prep by
reviewing character backstories and existing campaign elements to find opportunities to weave the two together, and create organic player investment in the narrative.
GM Aetheric's ideal table
Casual, but still serious enough to ensure everyone at the table feels their time is respected. Deep in-character interactions and decision-making are rewarded, encouraging story immersion without demanding hardcore roleplay.

I love it when a player
asks another players questions about their character, and how it may relate to elements of the worldbuilding their own character is unfamiliar with.
