About Rodrigo
With over 10 years of experience both playing and running tabletop roleplaying games, I’ve honed my skills as a versatile and immersive GM. Whether you're looking for high-stakes drama, dark horror, lighthearted adventure, or deep narrative storytelling, I thrive on tailoring the experience to fit the group’s preferred style of play. My strengths lie in mood-setting—crafting vivid atmospheres that pull players into the world—and system mastery, having run games across a wide range of systems (from rules-light indie RPGs to crunchier classics). I pride myself on fostering engaging, dynamic sessions where player choices truly matter, all while keeping the game flowing smoothly. A great campaign starts with clear expectations. That’s why I place huge value on Session Zero—dedicated time to discuss tone, themes, safety tools, character dynamics, and player boundaries. This ensures everyone is on the same page and helps me tailor the game to your preferences, whether you crave intense roleplay, tactical combat, or a mix of both. Above all, I believe RPGs are about collaborative storytelling—so whether you're a seasoned veteran or a first-time player, my goal is to ensure everyone has a memorable and exciting time at the table.

How Rodrigo runs games
I really enjoy roleplay and assist your character reach the end of your character arc, towards good or towards evil. Also i do enjoy that crunchy rules side of using your character's toolkit to solve problems, be it a traversal or tactical combat.

I deal with rules issues by...
Talking with the players, i try to stick to how they were written, but also try to see what is more fun or tells a better story. The most important thing is for it not to grind the table to a stop
If my games were Movies they'd be directed by...
i'd really like to compare them to Edgar Wright, be for fun things happening, engaging stories or even the vibe on set that everyone seem like friends
My games focus on...
Mostly try to get the vibe right, a proper song, character and challanges that fit with what was agreed on at the session zero
Rodrigo 's ideal table
I really like a more lighthearted group, where we can play around and laugh, but also can take the game seriously when it is called for. I tend to make a more combat heavy games with emphasis on that impact on the story, all that set at the session zero

I love it when a player
Communicates. Talk to me as to what story they want, what character arc they are expecting, and if there is anything that they dislike to tell me so i can adjust accordingly, about the game or the table.
I think min/maxing...
It's pretty fun, as long as everyone at the table is ok with it. Just remember that my job as a GM is to adjust the game accordingly
My table is not the place for...
Racism, LGBTQ+phobia, any sort of hate speech. If those are themes that you want to explore we hve to be sure that EVERYONE is willing to explore that, the game is meant to be a good time for all and all are welcome in it
