I'm Aaron and I've been game-mastering for over 25 years. I first started in middle school when a friend of mine gave me a stack of AD&D 2nd Edition books because he didn't want to take the time to read them. Since then I've generally been the de-facto GM for me and my friends for whatever RPG we played. Most of my experience has been with D&D 3.5 and Shadowrun, but I've also run games of Mechwarrior, World of Darkness, and many others. My GM style focuses on problem-solving, critical thinking, and player agency. I feel that as the GM, my job is to create the Call to Adventure. After that, the rest is up to the players. How you answer the call is up to you and your team, and I won't punish you for refusing the call. ...and as a *professional* GM, I feel that once the session starts, I am on the clock. You've paid good money to be here, so I'm not going to waste your time by lazily reading from a module or with time-filler chit chat. *NOT available for custom games*
My GM style focuses on problem-solving, critical thinking, and player agency. I feel that as the GM, my job is to create the Call to Adventure. After that, the rest is up to the players. How, or even if, you answer the call is up to you and I won't punish you for refusing. Weather to tackle the challenge through combat, negotiation, diplomacy, stealth, or guile is up to you.
