About me

Have been playing TTRPGs for...decades. Have been playing D&D since 3.5e and got back into DMing, started using 5e with the stay at home/ lock down and have hosted a few friends groups online since then, one still ongoing almost 2 years at this point. I've been working on my own campaign, and making maps for it on TaleSpire, since summer '21. Haven been using d&d as a focus for my creative writing hobby (I was published as part of a contest when I was in Highschool but for some reason went to college for engineering, that I no longer use, go figure.) I love making situations/ arcs for my players and seeing all that play out. Not a professional voice actor but I do enjoy like using different voices for different characters.

GM Style

I like seeing people succeed, have a good time, and spin a great story together. I've always loved roleplay and exploration more than combat but do my best to keep that entertaining. Not a professional voice actor but I do like making/ using different voices for different characters. How 'crunchy' people want to get can be discussed at session zero, as a player I'm all about counting arrows/ making sure I have material components for spells/ eating/ encumbrance/ etc., but keeping track of all of that as DM just feels like micromanaging and if it isn't fun for you then why bother? Will absolutely reward you for doing 'cool shit' such as using spells/ abilities in creative ways. Will absolutely make maps for you at the drop of a hat.

Jody is awesome!!! They are really open to collaboration on the overall plot and lets you do cool character customization. They always bring killer visuals and sick maps. They offer a branching plot so the players can choose their own story. Not to mention they always add something special for each player every session. They are patient and understanding if you're slow to pick up on the game mechanics and super sweet when just talking outside the campaign.
