About Nicholas Paschall
I'm hosting games for Pathfinder 1st edition, largely because I've noticed there aren't a lot of people hosting these games. I've been a DM for over twenty years, and have the philosophy that the game is meant to be something fun for everyone involved. I try and make games that have something for every player. I run modules, both bought and homebrewed.

I got started GMing...
...because the game I was involved with was losing the GM/Creator of the homebrew 3.0/3.5 Dungeons and Dragon's TTRPG game. I'd played in his game for two years in high school before he gave up not just gaming in general, he handed over all of his notes on the world and said "Your turn!"
The three words my players would use to describe me are...
Creative, adaptive, and dangerous? Creative as my homebrew world is pioneered/changed primarily by player action. Adaptive in that I take group opinion before most rulings. Dangerous in that whatever players have access to, so do NPCs. Enemies use tactics, and player death is common.
When I'm not running games I'm...
I work primarily as an online writer, though I often have temporary jobs throughout the year (tutoring, bookseller, copy editor, etc.). Under this name, I have published through traditional means three novels, with work appearing in over 200 magazines/ezines/online archives.
How Nicholas Paschall runs games
Storyteller, I try and make sure each player gets a moment or three to highlight their characters design. For modules, I tend to focus on tactical combat and light roleplay. For campaigns, I tend to focus on roleplay decisions and in-depth character building.
