About Taylor
I may be dating myself, but I have been playing and GMing RPGs since Dungeons and Dragons was first published. I've run numerous systems and many hours of games for friends and at conventions (such as Gamehole Con and Gary Con). I have also run many hours of games online, beginning around the start of the pandemic. I also enjoy video/computer games, mostly PvE and cooperative games. I am not a fan of PvP. I enjoy watching movies of all kinds. I prefer to watch movies in the theater. I believe that's how movies were meant to be enjoyed. I have a large, orange, male cat named Leo who is a camera hog. Don't be surprised to see him on camera while we play a game together. I have a calm, casual demeanor. It takes a lot to anger me. I am an ally of the LGBTQ+ community and its members.

My 3 systems I'd bring to a desert island would be
Wow, there are so many good systems out there. I think I would bring QAGS 2nd edition (Quick Ass Game System), Dungeons and Dragons 5th edition, and MCC (Mutant Crawl Classics).
My favorite shows/movies are
My favorite movie of all time is Forbidden Planet. I enjoy almost all genres of movies, but I tend toward Horror, Sci-Fi, Fantasy, and Action more than others. I generally prefer watching movies in the theater and see at least 50 films a year, both vintage and new.

How Taylor runs games
I believe fun and story come first. If a desired action can fit inside the framework of the rules, great; if not, ruling over rules applies. If everyone is having fun, then I am doing my job correctly. I also believe in being inclusive and safe. I use X-Cards for all my games, and I try to keep descriptions to PG-13. Once in a while, for specific games, we drift into R territory, but that is the exception, not the rule. I am not a fan of PvP unless it is necessary for the story. In the end, it is all about everyone being comfortable and having fun while telling a great story.

Rules are...
A guideline meant to be bent and broken as necessary to tell a great story.
Taylor's ideal table
My table is casual and fun. I like to keep things moving with fun encounters, interesting puzzles, and exciting role-playing opportunities. I try to keep my games to 60% action/encounters and 40% puzzles and role-play. I like engaged players who have a solid sense of humor, love of adventure, and are team players. I try my best to put together a fun session when I play, but the more engaged the players are, the better the game will be.

I love it when a player
I love players who can think outside the box and come up with creative solutions to problems. I also enjoy off-the-wall ideas and action. Those kinds of things keep me on my toes.
I think metagaming...
It's a cheat that takes the fun out of the game for everyone.
