About the adventure

Do you seek untold riches in the darkness of a sunken fortress? Do you have what it takes to brave the lightless depths? If so you are welcome to my table where I will be running the 5th edition adventure The Sunless Citadel. Your character will explore the secrets of an ancient fortress while leaning into their own character development. With spooky sounds and colorful characters you will be well on your way to discovering both your characters abilities, as well as your own convictions. Join me on an epic fantastical adventure for Dungeons and Dragons in Colorado Springs.

How to prepare

Once characters are determined, players should be intimately family with the various skills and abilities that their character possesses. Digital platforms make character reference easy, though players attention should be primarily focused on the shared story that is being told at the table. Otherwise players are encouraged to bring a good attitude, sense of fair play, and willingness for thrilling adventure. A set of lucky dice is also advised.

What I provide

To the table I will bring 20+ years of gaming experience, both running games and playing in them. Visual aids, sound effects, and mood lighting will enhance the verisimilitude of the experience. Overall I aim to provide a group with an exciting experience that they will want to tell their friends about tomorrow at school or work, by being a great steward of the tabletop roleplaying gaming community.

Gameplay details

In order to facilitate a great in person gaming experience I would like to send you a document that begins the process of character creation and world emersion to include links to a discord channel where session 0 topics will be discussed. You must be physically present for the game, address to be provided upon document completion.

How will character creation work

Character creation will happen on a dedicated discord channel. Each player should come to the discussion with a character concept in mind, a general backstory of why that character would put themselves willingly into perilous situations, and what, if any, community contacts they might have that would tie them to the setting.

Players can expect

• Find a game to join solo or search for a professional game master for you and your friends/coworkers/family.
• Book your session and wait for the Game Master to approve you.
• If you don't have a blast with your first game, your next game is on us.
