Operation Shadowpoint | Star Wars: Age of Rebellion

About the adventure

In Age of Rebellion, you play as bold characters trying to overthrow the repressive, authoritarian Galactic Empire and its tyrannical Emperor. As a brave Rebel, you will face more than a few stormtroopers, bounty hunters, Imperial agents and scum of the Galaxy as you fight to restore the Republic. The game is a combination and expansion of modules "Takeover at Whisper Base" and "Operation Shadowpoint", making it a comprehensive one-planet adventure that focuses on the everyday struggles and missions of the Rebellion instead of the general galaxy-spanning conflict. You will survive the jungles of Onderon, raid and capture hidden Imperial outposts, visit Iziz, the beautiful but oppressed capital of Onderon, and compete with the jungle tribes in your attempt to rid Onderon of the Empire's foul presence once and for all. As you establish your hidden base on Onderon, you will coordinate with other Rebellion forces in preparation for the most daring of all operations: the destruction of Jyrenne Base, an ordnance centre for the entire Japrael sector. The adventure takes place during the time of the Galactic Empire, after the destruction of the first Death Star in A New Hope but before the Battle of Hoth in Empire Strikes Back and uses the Age of Rebellion system from Fantasy Flight Games, which perfectly evokes the feeling of the galaxy far far away and lets the players tell their own stories among the trillions of stars.

Additional Details

How to prepare

A mic and a web browser (laptop, PC, Mac...) are required to play. No installation is required as everything is browser-based. Knowledge of the rules is not required because the game is open to beginners.

What I provide

I bring FoundryVTT, the most powerful virtual tabletop (dynamic lighting, music, character and gameplay automation), extensive knowledge of the rules, years of experience as a GM, deep and adaptive storytelling, and silly voices.

How will character creation work

Characters will be created in FoundryVTT with all Age of Rebellion books unlocked and players are free to use any species and careers/specializations in the books. Character creation will be done with my assistance during Session 0 and will then be playtested to make sure that the characters fit what the players envisioned (session 0 is free). If the players want to prepare a character beforehand, they are free to do so using any of the officially published Age of Rebellion resources.

Players can expect

• Find a game to join solo or search for a professional game master for you and your friends/coworkers/family.
• Book your session and wait for the Game Master to approve you.
• If you don't have a blast with your first game, your next game is on us.
