In the Shadow of Evil - A WWII Marvel FASERIP Campaign

About the adventure

It's World War Two and Adolph Hitler is in a mad race to collect items of mystical power to ensure the victory of the Third Reich. Fortunately, the Allies have assembled a group of burgeoning superheroes to combat the forces of darkness. It's a race against time as the heroes travel across Europe and beyond to beat the Nazis at their own game. Take on the roles of some of your favorite superheroes of the era such as Captain America, Nick Fury, and Wolverine as well as Indiana Jones and The Rocketeer - or, if you're so inclined, create characters of your own that fit the mood of the era. Be prepared to see familiar Marvel villains and NPCs along the way, with some surprise crossover antagonists to boot!

How to prepare

Webcam and mic are required. Rules will be available in Foundry VTT and a dice system will be in place with macros created by the GM. You should have a Foundry VTT membership in place before joining. We will be using Zoom to handle the video, and video will be recorded for Dreamslayer Studios' Podcast and YouTube Channel.

What I provide

Dreamslayer Studios will provide original character drawings for anyone participating in the campaign. Dice macros have been entered into the system for ease of play. Pre-gen characters will be available, but player created characters are allowed as well.

Fast paced combat, detailed combat, role-playing, improvisation, linear story path with an open world feel, horror theme, puzzles, no experience with the system needed, in-game assistance

How will character creation work

Pre-gen characters will be available for use or players can create characters of their own for use in the game. If players decide to create their own, the GM will work with you prior to the first session to create the character.

Players can expect

• Find a game to join solo or search for a professional game master for you and your friends/coworkers/family.
• Book your session and wait for the Game Master to approve you.
• If you don't have a blast with your first game, your next game is on us.
