    About the adventure

Inspired by Lovecraft's cosmic horror, survival horror games, and classic monster movies, journey to a frozen, inhospitable land of mystery and danger, with the rumor of rare but legendary rewards. This campaign works well in the Frostfell of Eberron, Vaasa/The Great Glacier of the Forgotten Realms, or in a homebrew setting (pictured above). My games are improv-heavy and driven by the Players. Whatever you want to do, we can find a way to make it happen. While I have some plans for adventures, adversaries, and quests, I want to hear from YOU what will make this world come alive.

    How to prepare

You will need a microphone, as well as Roll20 and Discord accounts. For groups with little experience, we will discuss the rules and learn as we play, so don't worry too much beforehand.

    What I provide

Maps, top-down tokens, and character illustrations will be provided, as well as any handouts relevant to the game. As this is an online game, you are welcome to print anything, and I am happy to record sessions if you like. I will take notes of important plot details during the game and add them to your handouts, so don't feel the need to take extensive notes (but feel free to!)

    Gameplay details

With every session, I aim for 2 combats, 1 puzzle/non-combat challenge, and 1-2 revelations (something that advances the plot or reveals secrets). There are a lot of role-playing opportunities, but it's up to the Players if you want to engage in that aspect. Role-playing opportunities are not just chances to use a funny voice, but include how your character approaches combat, what you do with prisoners, who you ally with along the way. With that said, at Session 0, I will ask what sort of game you want and adapt accordingly. This is a collaborative storytelling game, and I believe the Players should be as involved as they want in crafting an interesting story.
