About the adventure
Start your own premium Dungeons & Dragons 5th Edition Adventure Path, in an epic Viking setting! Individual players welcome. No experience with D&D Beyond necessary. The signs of Ragnarok, the end of all things, can be read in the Northern Lights. Monsters of legend are walking the earth. It's up to you and your party to save the word! Create a hero of legend: an Beastkin Ranger, a Bearfolk Barbarian, a Human Paladin or maybe a Trollkin Sorcerer. Board your longship and start your great voyage! Join with other epic heroes to under take an epic quest to save the world of Midgard, Kobold Press' original setting, and battle the servants of the ancient gods! The adventure will take a party of heroes from 1st to 13th level.

About me
Join a campaign with one of the top-rated Game Masters on StartPlaying! I specialize in running official Dungeons & Dragons campaigns. Creating your character
Players are not required to have a character ready for campaign launch. We will be creating new characters in the first half of our 'Session 0', and then get right into game play! If you are joining after campaign launch, we will set up a one-on-one call, to get you ready for your first session. Character options will be limited to the 2024 (5.5) Player's Handbook, and the Northlands Worldbook. We will be emphasizing the viking-flavoured races and subclasses of the Northlands.

What to expect
Preparing for the session
You will need profiles for Discord and D&D Beyond (basic access for both is free). No experience with D&D, D&D Beyond, or Discord required. Reach out if you're not sure how to get started!

DM is a D&D Beyond license holder (players join and use Beyond for free). By joining the campaign in Beyond, you will get access to all of the content you need.
Homebrew rules
I stick to the rules as written, rather than make you learn house rules--but if you want to *bend* the rules, describe something cool and cinematic, and it just might work!
