About the adventure
The world of Ovua is a vast and strange planet, filled with monsters, the magical art of Ossim, and ancient relics of bygone civilizations. Its diverse peoples lives are all in one way or another touched by Marrow, a crystal that forms throughout the land in abundance, powering machines and the mystic arts alike. Those who harvest this precious resource are known as Divers, for they are tasked with delving below the surface into the myriad underground layers that make up Ovua. For a long time, there has been peace. But that all changes with the party, a group of amateur divers, and their discovery of a strange sword inside a vein of purest Marrow. In the wake of this strange artifact’s recovery, mysterious and dangerous forces begin moving to acquire the sword through any means necessary. As the threats to Ovua begin to multiply, it will be up to the party to avert the coming disaster that faces them, their homes, and their loved ones in Xenoblade: Hollow.

About me
Howdy doodle! My name is Jolene. I'm a 23 year old college English major, writer, and an avid GM! I've been playing TTRPGs for over ten years now, when a very excited twelve year old me started attending DND sessions at my local game store. Since then, my passion for the hobby has only grown as I've experienced all sorts of different systems with my friends over the years. Some personal favorites are Fabula Ultima, Lancer, and Girl By Moonlight. In terms of other interesting stuff about me, I have a pet chinchilla named Shadow, I'm a trans lesbian, I have far, far too many plushies, and I hope to be a writer some day. My favorite game series is Xenoblade Chronicles, and a lot of my games draw inspiration from it and other personal favorites. My favorite character who I've ever played is probably Three, my Shifter Barbarian from a Dungeons of Drakenhiem campaign I played years ago. They were a magical experiment fighting to free their family from the mad scientist who created them, and they also allowed me to explore gender in a really important way at a really crucial time in my life. I'll always remember them and their journey fondly for that. Other than that, I don't really know what else to say about myself, other than that I hope to meet you in one of my games! ^-^

Creating your character
During session 0, we will create your characters, NPCs related to your character, and bonds. Before session 0, think about what sort of person your character might be, how they fight, where they're from, if they're a baseline human or someone a bit more fantastical. The sky is the limit.

How Jolene creates a safe table
- Once you've joined the Moonfrog Games Discord server, you will be provided with the Monte Cook RPG Consent Checklist, which you will fill out to help me figure out how best to keep sessions comfortable. - The letters X, N, and O will be used for their respective cards in chat messages. If you are uncomfortable putting this in the general chat, please DM me the card, and I will respond to it as quickly as possible. - Bio breaks will be scheduled about half way through the session, so about an hour and a half in, though will be open to being requested to be earlier if needed. - Stars and Wishes will be performed at the end of session to help guide the campaign to where the players want to go.
