About the adventure
At the moment I'm stringing together some smaller one shot Cthulhu adventures. (See the current one below) But you will keep the same character (unless they die). Kind of like the X files, where you investigate a mystery and then a few weeks later you look at a different unrelated mystery. If you've got at least some beginner level experience in another game like DnD this be a good game for you as everyone in the game is a beginner at Call of Cthulhu. Current Story-Scarlet Letters Its 1925 a dead professor. Missing occult papers. A web of lies in Arkham where everyone has a motive—and the dark truth won't stay buried for long. Scarlet Letters is an introductory scenario into the sanity-breaking action of Call of Cthulhu 7th Edition. Expect tense investigations and the slow realisation that not every horror in this world is natural. ABOUT THE CALL OF CTHULHU RPG Call of Cthulhu is a mystery‑driven horror RPG where ordinary people confront impossible truths, uncover hidden terrors, and fight to keep their sanity as the unknown closes in. Its simple percentile system supports investigation and human vulnerability, while sanity rules heighten tension without overwhelming newcomers. Adventures emphasize clues, atmosphere, and unraveling dark secrets, rewarding caution, curiosity, and clever thinking over combat. This scenario is perfect for players who enjoy slow creeps, frequent action, role-play, or want to try Call of Cthulhu for the first time! Hate Tech or Socially Anxious! I don’t like tech either so I’ve tried use the easiest ones available and that are free. Feeling anxious of meeting new people? You will be able chat to me before hand so you will know me before the game and I make sure all the groups are integrating and if you have a shy day sometimes that’s cool. (if you don’t understand any of the Call of Cthulhu words here don’t worry I will explain it)

About me
📜 Story tailored to the Party/Player's decisions (what you do matters) 🧭 Emphasis on exploration and discovering the D&D world around you 🎭 Intriguing NPC interactions and exciting social dynamics 🎨 Art work and maps specially made for your adventure 🧠 Theatre of the Mind playstyle for maximum creativity 🤗 A safe and accepting space for all players 💪 Support for new players, so everyone can join in on the fun! 🤝 Make friends with your interests as you join the group 🎲 Very easy set up on the tech side so you can play straight away Not going to lie I LOVE the Critical Role show. If you like that style of play I am probably a good fit for you. I prefer story over mechanics, and hope to see some contributions from you to make the story is more fun through role playing. There’s a heavy focus on building your characters background, personality and goals from the get go. I give time for players to socalise with each other in each game to do this. There will be monsters and fighting but also merriment and heart ache. (generally every other game we have a big fight session, while the other is exploration and socialising) I try to conform my style to whatever is best-suited to each party and their campaign. There are so many ways to enjoy this game that I find it works best to ask players a lot of questions, seek a lot of feedback, and always be prepared to adjust. And if you want see my style of play and DMing skills click on the You Tube Link to see me in action.

Creating your character
If you join for session 0 we will make the characters as a group and if joining after I will spend some time with you before the game separately making your character. We make our characters on roll 20.
What to expect
Preparing for the session
I use Session Zero to address any safety concerns the game might entail, and I am always open to being messaged privately if further concerns arise.( if joining after this, all the safety notes will be posted in the discord room) I prefer to run a tight ship and keep the story moving, but the most important thing to me is that all my players are having fun. I will provide a Discord chat room for the game to be played and also a text chat room so you can talk to me or the rest of the party when you wish to. You will need the free link for Discord I send you and I use Owl Bear which you just need click to access for maps. The only registering is a free Roll20 account to make your character (takes about 2 mins to do) Equipment needed. A computer or tablet, computer will make it easier. webcam(adds more fun but you don’t have to use) and a mic. Thinking about the race and class you like your character be would a great help pre game but not necessary. (e.g an elf wizard)
