About the adventure
Far from home, the crew of the U.S.S. Athens always the best intentions as they go about their tasks. The Athens is on an extended mission of deep space exploration. While other ships are traveling well-mapped space lanes, the Athens is relying solely on her sensors and her crew's intelligence, wit, and determination to make it to the next star system. Most of the time, that's enough. Sometimes it isn't. Beam aboard a starship that takes itself seriously, but not too seriously, as you make first contact with new species, explore strange new phenomena, and occasionally figure out how to rescue some crewmates who get trapped on the holodeck.

About me
I have been playing and running TTRPGs since 2020. The COVID-19 pandemic was a time when I desperately needed to find community and a little bit of a reprieve from reality, and I found it by rolling dice with friends. I have the most experience running D&D 5/5.5e and Star Trek Adventures. I started running games shortly after I started playing as a way to meet people in my new community. I was blessed to find players who became friends around the table.

Creating your character
Character creation can be completed independently, or with assistance from the GM prior to their first session. Players are able to draw upon content from all Star Trek Adventures source books.

Our sessions will use Discord and Foundry. Links to both servers will be sent out shortly after players join the table.
What Tyler brings to the table
As someone with a life-long love of Star Trek, I pride myself on being able to immerse my players in that universe. I prefer not to get bogged down in crunch rules, often erring on the side of "if it makes sense, do it!" I do my best to balance each session with humor and appropriate seriousness. I believe that great Star Trek is made up of both! Players leave the table feeling like they've just beamed off of a Federation Starship!
