About the adventure

The bells of Valcera call the valley to wine, music and candlelight. White houses spill down the hill beneath a ruined citadel. When the sun goes down, everyone has a story about what walks the vineyards. Most are lies. Some are invitations. In Andaluria, beauty is never harmless. A noble house can offer sanctuary and demand a secret. A monster can protect a village. A blessing can carry a price. Above the valley, an ancient queen remembers every promise made in her shadow. This is heroic, romantic dark fantasy for players who want duels, monsters, dangerous desire, haunted ruins, difficult loyalties and victories that truly change the people and places around them. Hope is real here. So are the consequences of spending it. The first wine festival ends in blood. What happens next belongs to you.

About me

You’re looking for a world that remembers what you do. I’m Dunchan, the GM behind Mythveil Chronicles. My campaigns span horror, fantasy, science fiction and the World of Darkness. NPCs have their own motives, factions act between sessions, and player choices carry forward. New to tabletop roleplaying or a particular system? Many of my campaigns welcome newcomers. I’ll guide you through character creation and help you find your footing; each listing explains its own experience requirements. I build atmosphere with story, sound, visuals, maps and handouts where they fit. Platforms and preparation vary by game, so each campaign page lists the system, tools, schedule, group size and content notes. The per-session price shown on a campaign listing is that game’s price; private bookings use the profile rate. Mythveil draws on real history, mythology and belief to create worlds shaped by the people inside them. You don’t just visit the setting—you leave a mark.

Character creation

Creating your character

Character creation happens together during the free Session 0. Bring a Daggerheart character idea, a vivid question, or simply curiosity. We create connections between the party and personal ties to Andaluria, then finish sheets in Alchemy. New players are welcome; I will guide the rules at the table.

What to expect

Preparing for the session

Please have a computer, stable internet connection, microphone and Discord account. Before Session 0, join the Discord server from the invitation and complete the short safety and preference check. No Daggerheart experience is required.

What Dunchan Hunter brings to the table

A prepared, cinematic and responsive campaign in Alchemy VTT with Discord voice, scene art, music, distinct NPC voices and tactical moments when the fiction calls for them. Expect clear scenes and room for character-led choices to change the direction of the story. The places and people you touch remember what happened.

Homebrew rules

Daggerheart rules as written are the foundation. I use transparent rulings to keep fiction moving, and I will explain any table-specific adjustment before it matters.

Safety

How Dunchan Hunter creates a safe table

We establish Lines and Veils and use X, N and O Cards in Session 0. The Open Door is always available: anyone may pause, step away or request a change without explanation. We check in after intense scenes and use brief debriefing when needed. Player comfort comes before fiction.
