About me
Hello, hello! The name’s Fey, but there’s a lot more to me than just that! My love for TTRPGs started on New Year’s Eve of 2015 with my very first session played. From the first roll of the dice, I have only fallen more in love with tabletop roleplaying. Before joining StartPlaying, I ran 2-3 games a day, 6 days a week, over the course of 3 years as part-owner of my own TTRPG company – WildewitchRP. This puts me in the ballpark of about 3000 games that I’ve professionally run pre-SPG; including a repertoire of fully custom storylines, pre-written modules, one-shots, and adventure campaigns both short and long-term, either crafted or embellished in collaboration with my partner. Most of my experience lies within D&D 5e, however I am a GM of many systems! And I'm not turned away from a game if I need to learn a new system; quite the opposite, really! I love learning new systems and seeing the tales they can weave! There’s a whole world of stories for us to explore, so grab your dice and let’s start our adventure!

Creating your character
Characters will be made on D&DBeyond. Characters will use either "Point Buy" or "Standard Array" for stats, as well as use fixed HP. Characters will be level 20. New characters will have 5,000 gp plus 1d10 × 250 GP plus normal starting equipment. New characters will also have 2 Common, 4 Uncommon, 3 Rare, 1 Very Rare magic items. Official materials and partnered content are allowed. Homebrew options will need to be discussed with me ahead of time, and will be allowed if approved for table play.

NECESSARY TOOLS AND APPLICATIONS - Discord - A D&DBeyond account Once you have access to the game's text channel in our Discord, you’ll get access to a D&DBeyond campaign where you’ll be able to claim your character. What Fey brings to the table
I have a ton of resources on D&DBeyond that can be used, as well as space for homebrew to be created or reviewed for table inclusion. I try to balance the Rules as Written with the Rule of Cool to make for memorable moments, tension, and high stakes. I do attempt to make character voices, but sometimes I slip in and out of those voices (which can be a fun moment in itself). I do make use of music and ambience for sessions. Sessions are recorded for a VOD archive to supplement note taking.

How Fey creates a safe table
Safe play is super important to me at the tables I'm at. X cards can be messaged to me either in a DM or in the game's text channel. We have a break in the middle of the session, or if ever one needs to be called else time. I encourage open conversations about what people are enjoying (or not so much) at the table. We have a Star, Wishes, and Treats for any post-session thoughts. And I will always welcome conversations from players in my DMs.
