About the adventure
Every hundred years, the legendary witch Baba Yaga returns to Irrisen to place a new daughter upon its throne. This time, she has not appeared. As magical winter spreads into neighboring lands, a band of unlikely heroes must investigate its source and uncover what has happened to one of the most powerful beings in existence. Reign of Winter begins as a dark fairy-tale adventure filled with hostile fey, winter witches and desperate survival. The campaign soon expands into an unpredictable, world-spanning epic featuring lost civilizations, distant realms, strange technology and one of Earth’s most infamous historical figures. Characters will advance from 1st level into the highest tiers of Pathfinder play. This classic Pathfinder First Edition Adventure Path has been fully converted and adapted for Pathfinder Second Edition Remaster. Expect challenging tactical combat, exploration, memorable NPCs, meaningful character choices and lasting consequences. New Pathfinder players are welcome, but survival will require cooperation, resourcefulness and a willingness to face genuine danger. This campaign features a custom Power Point system that rewards completing quests, protecting allies, creating memorable moments, and keeping the party alive. Spend your points on new feats, skills, spells, languages, improved defenses, additional health, and other permanent upgrades beyond normal PF2e advancement. Build a character whose abilities reflect the victories, sacrifices, and legendary moments experienced throughout Reign of Winter. https://docs.google.com/document/d/11XEs90qwYY-Mwor_lLeiDtsUV2MrHAfAXvz4nC-eeq0/edit?usp=sharing

About me
Welcome, adventurer! Thanks for stopping by my table. Let me share a bit about who I am as a DM, so you can decide if my games are the right fit for you. I got my start in the late '80s, running AD&D for friends and playing classic Gold Box games on the Commodore 64. Back then, we improvised a lot—sometimes using calculators instead of dice! Even when life pulled me away for a while (hello, college), I stayed connected through D&D video games like Dark Sun, Baldur’s Gate, and Eye of the Beholder. When I came back to tabletop, I dove headfirst into Pathfinder 1e, running 2–3 games a week in local stores and at home. I eventually became my state’s Pathfinder Society coordinator, organizing weekly games and large-scale events. From there, I ran several long-running home campaigns and later switched to D&D 5e for a few years. These days, my players and I have returned to deeper waters—Pathfinder 2e. By day, I’m an accountant (rules and numbers come naturally). By passion, I’m a writer and artist (so creativity is always on the menu). My GM style is fast-paced, story-first, and team-oriented. I value clear rules as a foundation, but character arcs and party dynamics are what truly bring a game to life. I’ll check in often to make sure you’re having fun—and I welcome feedback. Expect a challenge. I run tough but fair games where teamwork matters and victory is earned. Some options are restricted to keep things balanced and ensure everyone has a chance to shine. Want more specifics? Check out the individual game pages. Thanks for reading—I hope we’ll roll initiative together soon!

Creating your character
First, all new players will have an interview with DM to make sure the game is a good fit for all, and discuss character options. Players will make a level-appropriate character based on that conversation to be entered into Foundry VTT. For any questions prior to signing up/interview, feel free to send me a message through Start Playing.
What to expect
Preparing for the session
We will connect using Foundry VTT, and can check the demo available on their website to ensure compatibility. All dice rolling and character sheets will be provided via the software. For voice chat, we will use Discord. Please ensure you have a quality microphone, and will be in an environment free of background noise for the enjoyment of all. It is recommended that all players read over my gameplay guidelines at https://tinyurl.com/5x7nu93m , and have a very basic knowledge of Pathfinder 2e rules. However, I will work with new players on both as needed.
What Phil brings to the table
I will provide the Foundry VTT software with all the needed setup. Once the game is ready to go, I will provide a URL and password that players will use to connect.
