About the adventure
The story begins in the orbital space of the IPS-N mining world of Havelburg. Ten years prior, a catastrophic mining accident known as "The Disaster" engulfed the planet in permanent, planet-wide dust storms, forcing survivors into underground habitats and turning surface cities into hollowed out ruins called "Dustgraves". The player characters are mercenaries passing through, awaiting passage on the merchant ship Dynast's Embrace. Their journey is interrupted when Emily, the ship's astrographic and navigational NHP, is abducted. With Emily missing, the ship is stranded, prompting the crew to investigate her disappearance. This leads the Lancers into the abandoned, dust-choked upper levels of Port Conroy, the planetary capital, now a haven for ruthless gangs and other sinister forces. The adventure blends tactical mech combat with investigative gameplay and includes nine combat scenes.

About me
I'm Ghost, a GM of 2 years who lives for player driven collaborative stories. I run sandbox campaigns using the official settings you know and love. But every quest, NPC, and dungeon is homebrewed to fit your party. I don't write a script; I build a living world, and you decide where to go and what to do. I love taking official lore and twisting it into something uniquely ours. My GM style is 70% improv, 30% prep. When it comes to the rules, I lean hard into the Rule of Cool. I know the systems well enough to keep things fair, but I'd much rather see you do something epic and memorable than get bogged down flipping through a rulebook. Got a wild plan? Describe it, roll the dice, and let's see what happens. I run a welcoming, LGBTQ+ friendly table where new players and veterans alike are encouraged to think outside the box. Your backstory matters, your choices matter, and at my table, you are the main character of your own legend. Let's build a sandbox and knock over the castles together.

What to expect
Preparing for the session
We will be using Discord, FoundyVTT and Comp/Con. Discord and comp/con will both require account. Foundry doesn't and a server link will be provided by game time.
What Ghost brings to the table
What I Provide: Full access to the Dustgrave adventure module, including all NPCs, maps, and story beats A Foundry VTT server with custom battlemaps, dynamic lighting, and token art for every mech and enemy COMP/CON integration with the Dustgrave .lcp files so all new mech frames, talents, and gear are ready to go A Discord server with dedicated voice channels and a text channel for session recaps and out of game chatter Pre-session character creation support I'll help you build your LL2 Lancer and get comfortable with the rules My GM Style: I lean into tactical, grid based combat where positioning, heat management, and teamwork matter expect challenging but fair encounters I use ambient soundscapes (dust storms, clanging mech bays, eerie NHP static) to set the mood, but keep voices minimal unless a key NPC demands it I run Rules as Written for combat balance, but I reward creative problem solving and cool narrative moments outside the mech Investigation and roleplay are just as important as combat your choices in the Dustgrave will shape how the story unfolds
