About me
"I am a dabbler, but no master of magic!" - Ahghairon Hello adventurer, my name is Chantz! I have been GM-ing for over 3 years for both long-term campaigns and one-shots, in-person and online! Experienced in D&D 5e, 5.5e and Avatar Legends, learning Lancer and Daggerheart. My GM-ing style is player-focused narrative and themes, I meet my players where they are at! My favorite campaign styles: political intrigue, class-conscious conflict, and metaphysical chaos. My favorite settings: traditional medieval & nautical My favorite moods: swashbuckling, exploration, mystery I find myself inspired to build worlds and story hooks based on music. Tell me about your favorite artist or project!

Creating your character
Please create the character of your dreams in D&D Beyond! I will send the campaign link so your adventurer can join, and this will make it easier for virtual dice rolls and maps. Any D&D 5.5e and/or 5e Core Rules and/or Expanded Rules are free game for character build! Make them a Level 1 character with Standard Array stat blocks (15, 14, 13, 12, 10, 8 ability scores). Give me your wildest backstory and I WILL work it into this campaign, giving each player their story to build upon and bring to life.

How Chantz creates a safe table
π¬ I will monitor Discord direct chats throughout the session if any situations or conversations get out of hand. I will also ensure all character concepts are appropriate before the session. π I will provide a Session 0 introduction to lay down some foundational expectations regarding rules and behavior before our first session begins, and send additional Session 0 rules and expectations to the Discord. π½ My sessions are designed with built-in breaks every 90-120 minutes for bio breaks, mental recharging, grabbing snacks, or whatever you need! πͺ I also maintain an Open Door policy! Meaning, if you need to step away outside our designated breaks, don't hesitate. Just drop me a direct chat to notify me and (if possible) let me know how we should proceed with your character's involvement in the story :)
