About the adventure
Fall is almost here and that means it's time to start get spooky! I usually run a Strahd campaign this time every year, but this time I'm doing it with a twist that involves a Planescape invasion. If you like Ravenloft AND Planescape, this is the game for you! A group of travelers has once again gotten lost in the Mists and become trapped in Barovia, though they find it a bit different that it usually is. Strahd is on the move, trying his best to escape Barovia. This time, he's closer than ever to success. Each card in a mysterious divination deck has become a portal key. The cards have been scattered across the world. The portals they reveal connect Barovia to the worst parts of the Outlands. The gate towns of Curst, Torch, Bedlam, and Ribcage are beginning to spill into Barovia. Amid the chaos, one card serves as the key out of these horrible realms. Can you find the Warrior card before Strahd can? This is a fast paced, highly randomized campaign that will run for 10 to 15 sessions. Expect deadly combat and big laughs as gothic horror collides with planescape insanity!

About me
4 years ago I joined the Start Playing community, 100+ positive reviews later I feel I've found the place where I belong. Today I run a full weekly schedule of games for a variety of different players. I do corporate events, summer camps, and online games all of which are entirely private. I would love to have you at the table, let's tell a great story together.

Creating your character
I have a campaign set up for us on D&D Beyond with full content share active. We will build characters before the campaign's start. If anyone has any questions I will be available through discord
What to expect
Preparing for the session
You will need a free Discord and D&D Beyond account. A working mic is required and a working camera is encouraged, but not necessary.
What Dudley brings to the table
All of my games are theatre of the mind in order to maximize accessibility and awesomeness. I take the rules seriously but am not at all strict about placement and always try to find a way to say yes to all ideas. I use a music bot for ambiance.
Homebrew rules
If you score a critical hit half of the dice are automatically maximized

How Dudley creates a safe table
I always run a session 0 where everyone is given the opportunity to share their feelings about what content they'd like to avoid. I also have an open door policy where players can direct message me at any time if something is making them uncomfortable.
