About the adventure

Seven dragon orbs- one wish, any wish, to those that bring them together. To find them, one must be ready to travel across the continents, through the oceans, and even down into the depths of the dark. Are you ready to face worlds for your wish? This is D&D with some Dragonball flavoring! The story is still set in Forgotten Realms lore, with bits of DB appearing throughout. You'll travel to various regions in search of your treasures- and if you can attain them, have some game time left to enjoy your spoils. This is a homebrew campaign, so whatever you bring to the table is part of the story!

About me

I am a geeky drama therapist (in training!) who is putting her acting degree and love of D&D to work. I've been playing off and on for 20 years, started DM-ing about 4 years ago, and found a passion! My focus is on your characters and their stories, how they're feeling, who they know, how they connect with the world. If you like going into deep lore stuff, I'm your gal. I've been running games professionally for a good two years at this point, though 70% was teaching/playing with people attending a young adult residential. The other 30% is online with some awesome people. Rules as written help make the game a bit more difficult and fun- and if the rules get a bit sticky and slow us down too much, I'll make a call that fits with the story. Come play with me! (I speak these geek dialects - TMNT, star wars, star trek, firefly, LOTR, Critical Role, BG3, Dr. Who, Disney, and a few others to a lesser degree. )

Character creation

Creating your character

-We'll be starting at Level 1, and aiming to go all the way through Level 20. -Characters will be created on D&D Beyond. Books will be shared with players so they don't have to order/have their own. -You'll have the choice to roll for stats- or choose an array I have.

What to expect

Preparing for the session

1. Make sure you have DISCORD (free). We'll be inviting you to a server for ease of communication and organization. 2. Make sure you have DnD BEYOND (free) During your first session, we'll ensure you are hooked up before we play.

What Madame Moiselle (Mads) brings to the table

This is a homebrew, my friends, so YOU bring half the story. I'll work with you to get a backstory and hook you're excited about, then we launch off into the Forgotten Realms! I love to do voices, and love when you do them too! I stick to rules as written, but lean towards Rule of Cool more when the rules get sticky. Ambient music is an option, I also know that in certain groups it is distracting, or difficult to hear past- I try to leave that up to the group that is playing.

Safety

How Madame Moiselle (Mads) creates a safe table

Before joining a game, everyone will complete a consents list to ensure that everyone has a chance to voice their hard limits. Each game starts off with a basic reminder of the important rules and safeties in place- nothing exhaustive, just a team reminder! Throughout the game, if something is starting to feel icky or uncomfortable, yellow and red will be the color communicators that trigger a check in or a full stop. Every game will end with a stars and wishes moment, and a debrief if anything needs to be addressed.
