About the adventure
A century has passed since the God-King Othedias betrayed the Pantheon, provoking divine punishment and abandonment by the gods that left the realm of the Halcyon Domain shattered, desolate, and eternally cursed. Throughout this shadow-choked land of decaying fortresses and dreadful monstrosities, surviving communities cling to hope in the face of lightless oblivion. In this Age of Umbra campaign, you’ll play survivors going on a scared pilgrimage to the temple of the Last Dawn. No one knows how it creates the blessed branches, but they must be collected, placed in reliquaries, and taken to the Watch Tower, the highest point in the Idol Hollows. From there all scared pyres can be seen. Should they be extinguished a blessed branch from the watch tower can be sent to reignite it. Be warned that the blessed branches are priceless and many would covet them. Age of umbra games tend to feel Ancient, Daunting, Epic, Grim, Ominous, Terrifying, Tragic. For this adventure, the main themes are Apocalypse, Darkness vs Light, Hope, Survival. The world may be a grim dark hellscape, but survivors are called The Enduring for a reason.

About me
I’m less of a Game Master, and more of a Story Keeper. I love seeing what tales we and the dice can create together. I feel like that’s what makes TTRPGs so much fun. We are all sitting down and making a story. My role at the table will always be to make sure everyone is having fun and feels empowered to help craft the narrative. If I'm the only one having fun or any impact on the narrative, then I have failed the story and the table. My fondest TTRPG memories are the ones where my character felt real, and the world felt alive. That's what I strive to create for other people. A table where I can keep the story safe that we are all making together.
