About the adventure
Power corrupts sweetly, and absolutely. We are all subject to her seductive call. While the clerics of Tyr heal the Paladins of Torm so they can fight the devils of Avernus and the demons of the Abyss. Some of us are just trying to escape a life of taxes, boredom and labor! We've just set out (after a hearty breakfast) to travel to Greenest- the only town of any size astride the most direct road between the eastern cities as well as the road running south. The trade caravans that pass through Greenest bring gold to the town’s merchants and crafts folk. You've been called to this town for specific and personal reasons, which will be discussed prior to session one.

About me
I've been playing D&D since my childhood in the early 80's and try my best to re-engage the board game mixed with improv troupe I associate with the best examples of D&D. I like voice acting, playing in-character and making sessions a mix of gameplay, making friends and giving people a place to let their imaginations run free with safety and advocacy.

Creating your character
You are free to concenptualize your character(s) to your hearts content. I prefer characters to be created in a group setting, allowing the players to consult each other for background ties, faction associations, alignment alignment(lol) and other party composition discussion. As the DM, I'm happy to leave attribute generation to the players to vote on (standard array, rolls, point buy). NOTE: I will roll the attributes as 4d6-drop-the-lowest and provide each player with multiple full sets of pregenerated stats to choose from.
What to expect
Preparing for the session
You should be familiar with the basic 5E rules available on D&D Beyond. You should be open to learning how to use Discord. Having a mic/headset is preferred or touch-to-talk will be implemented to prevent background static.
What Tamu aka "DutchesandDragons" brings to the table
I provide sourcebook access, years of experience as a D&D player, DM, lover of players (a big one), actor, and ambassador to the hobby. I include audio, sound effects, ambient environmental sound and combat sounds. I've acquired upgraded battlemaps which support 3rd party artists on DMGuild and DriveThruRPG.
Homebrew rules
Typically "homebrew" rules are applied as they make sense and are implemented to help customize the game for the player group specifically. That said, "homebrew modifications" will be implemented throughout the sessions!
