About the adventure
The gods have never been silent. Their hands guide kings to glory, topple empires into ruin, bless the faithful, and curse the arrogant. Across the world of Virna, every mountain, sea, and forgotten ruin bears the mark of divine ambition. Mortals build civilizations beneath the watchful eyes of immortals, and every generation gives rise to those daring enough to challenge fate itself. Yet legends are never born alone. Time and time again, people of every creed, kingdom, and walk of life find themselves drawn together. A disgraced soldier. A wandering oracle. A cunning thief. A devoted priest. A scholar seeking truths best left buried. Their reasons may differ, but destiny has a habit of weaving unlikely souls into stories remembered for centuries. The greatest tales are never told exactly as they happened. Heroes become myths. Victories grow larger. Failures fade into whispers. The truth is lost, leaving only legend behind. Now, a new story begins. The gods are watching. Monsters stir in forgotten places. Ancient powers awaken beneath the earth, and kingdoms stand on the edge of an uncertain future. The only question that remains is… When history remembers your name, what story will it tell?

About me
Hey there, adventurers! I go by The Forever DM on Discord, but feel free to call me Nick! I’m 27 years old and have over 13 years of experience playing and running tabletop RPGs, especially D&D and games like it. My style is relaxed, creative, and collaborative. I love running dynamic sandbox campaigns with multiple story threads, tailored to the players’ characters and preferred play styles. Whether it’s a custom world or a published module, I aim to make every session feel personal and engaging. I’m well-versed in both D&D 5e and Pathfinder 2e, and I also run games using the Star Wars 5e conversion. I believe everyone deserves a seat at the table—whether you're a seasoned veteran or brand new to the hobby. My goal is always to create a fun, inclusive space where players feel safe experimenting, exploring, and expressing themselves. My friends know me as a DM who lets chaos reign (within reason!), and I do my best to say “yes, and...” whenever possible. I primarily use Roll20 to run my games, as it's given me the best results in creating immersive, organized sessions. I’ve also run systems like Masks: A New Generation, and I’m always open to learning new ones if it means creating the best experience for my players. More than anything, I want to build lasting memories and foster real camaraderie through shared storytelling. So if that sounds like your kind of table—pull up a chair. Let’s roll some dice and make something unforgettable. All the best, Nick
View Profile →Character creation
Creating your character
Character creation will happen primarily either on Roll20 or on DnD Beyond. Whichever you are more comfortable with, and we will roll stats on Discord using a bot. Starting level will be level 3 so everyone can get their subclasses that they’d like to do.
What to expect
Preparing for the session
1. Have a Roll20 and Discord accounts for voice calls and character sheets and maps. 2. Make sure you’re mic is all good 3. Be ready to have fun!
What The DM Nick brings to the table
I will provide a safe environment to play in, having a session 0 to go over Lines and Veils and various other things to ensure everyone has an enjoyable time at the table. This is a table that follows rule of Cool within reason! During game time I will provide voices for NPCs and bosses. Specialized gear tailored for your characters As well as a Homebrewed system of having recurring villains that get stronger as you do! So combats where your enemies escape actually mean something instead of being just a normal annoyance.
Homebrew rules
1. If you drink a potion as a bonus action, you roll for it whereas an action you’d get the full amount. 2. To combat DM indecisiveness, I have made the “Fate Roll” system. Pretty simple, I roll a D20. 1-10 is unfavorable towards the party, 11-20 is favorable. With natural 1s or 20s being the extremes.
