About the adventure
💫Your efforts to locate the star crossed lovers will have an immediate impact on how the fey and humans regard you (and your adventuring party). But, it'll be up to you to decide if you'd rather burn a maze to the ground or talk your way through the challenges that await. 🧚💘🌷 💘Juliana and Orlando💝 fled to escape their feuding families, in search of a place where their love would be celebrated and not vindicated. ⛰️Few venture deep into the cave of echoes, but the magical whispers of the Feywild reach even those who stop at its entrance. 🌷Found behind a waterfall frozen in time, you may journey past the mystical fey crossing to an earthly paradise. Created as a symbol of enduring love, it is a clear and idyllic retreat from reality. 🧚Once you cross into the Feywild you best keep your wits about you, as the eccentric fey creatures are eager to make your acquaintance. 🏰Of course, the trip couldn't be too easy, as an ever-changing hedge maze stops you in your tracks. Surely, Juliana and Orlando couldn't have made it all the way here.... could they? 🧚💘🌷 Directly following this campaign, a new mini-campaign may start should you continue to work with Nafas, the noble genie and patron of your journey, to aid in his work of granting wishes heard across the multiverse.

About me
When you love storytelling and have a penchant for chaos, all roads (eventually) lead to TTRPG. I came to tabletop roleplay later in life (2023) but my love for crafting stories and roleplaying online started in 2005. When you're plagued with visions and brainworms aplenty, there's nothing I love more than detailing a scene like I'm storyboarding a movie. Yes, we know where the action is leading us, but how are we getting there? Is it with a comedic flair, or a penchant for angst and dramatics? Those are the details I highlight when setting the scene. Offline, I provide individual and group therapy (including therapeutic gaming!) to children and teens. I have presented at local, national, and international conferences, on my most favorite topic of all: utilizing tabletop gaming to support social skills and emotional flexibility. The fun doesn’t stop there, as I’ve been working on a handbook for behavior analysts who want to learn how to bring gaming to the therapy room! When I'm not making art or gaming (Sims4, CitiesSkylines), you're likely to find me doomscrolling on tumblr and organizing my 100+ open tabs on AO3. Please note, I provide additional care to ensure that neurodivergent, LGBTQ+, and BIPOC voices are heard, elevated, and supported. There is no AI at my table. Generative or otherwise, for myself or for players. This includes image creation and note taking. I create my game images using Canva Pro, and do additional research to ensure I am not using AI-generated assets in those images. My profile banner is created by myself. Creating your character
Characters should be ready to go at session start, and made on DnDBeyond.com. Standard Array for ability scores should be used. Most homebrew and source material is welcome.
This module is best run with four to six players. If we start with three, an NPC (Yuanti Ranger) will be added as the fourth. This mini-campaign picks up where 'Cyndicea, the Lost City' left off. What to expect
Preparing for the session
You will need a Discord & DnDBeyond account to play. Both accounts are free to create. My Discord server will be used for audio, and DnDBeyond for VTT. If you create your character within the campaign, you will have access to my source books. You Character's picture on DnDBeyond will be their token during gameplay.
What Erika Kathryn brings to the table
Character sheets, Maps, and Dice Rolling will be ran through DnDBeyond. Discord will be used for audio. We follow the Rule of Cool here, and make liberal use of in-character dialogue and narration. You can do as much as you are comfortable with, and I welcome the melding of minds if you have a specific vision for how a conversation or action goes down! Creative choices will be honored, 9 times out of 10. If it adds to the narrative, it's likely game!
Homebrew rules
- Consumables are a bonus action - Nat 1s cause damage (for fun flavor, not to target any one person) - Flanking gives advantage - When a number is halved, we round up - When you restore HP and roll more points than you need to recover, the points in excess may be logged as temporary HP (i.e., you have 15 HP out of 20 remaining, use a potion, and get an 8 on the dice roll -- you would then have 20HP and 3 Temp HP) Inventory/Items: - players begin with two potions of greater healing - players may switch out items as needed during character creation (i.e., starting equipment includes a scimitar and you want a glaive instead) - players begin with their starting gold AND starting equipment - players begin with up to 5 magical items: up to 3 Rare items, and any combination of Common/Uncommon. You can trade in 1 rare + 2 uncommon for 1 Very Rare instead. Your character may start out with more gold/equipment if it relates to their backstory/is a character you're inserting from a previous campaign, etc. Just shoot me a message and we can discuss. If any one character comes in with disproportionately more gold or items than other players, other PCs will be given additional gold to level the playing field.

How Erika Kathryn creates a safe table
Once you get set up in my discord server, you can message me any specific lines/veils you want to be observed. Similarly, we'll do a brief check in prior to game start to make sure everyone is comfortable with the set up. I do not typically take a break during game play, but that doesn’t mean you can’t. You are more than welcome to step away at any time, without worry or issue. I appreciate stars and wishes post-gameplay, even in oneshots.
