About the adventure
Imagine a world where good has lost and evil prevailed. Imagine this awful existence as a regular person desperate to dream for more but knowing it is impossible. The world has ended and everything is wrong. You will play characters not bound by these facts. Starting as level one heroes in this horrible place, you will grab destiny prove that not all heroes must fall in this most forgotten of realms. You will start at one of the last adventuring academies along the Sword Coast but soon horrible secrets will be revealed that send you on a quest spanning the entirety of the world. You will need to: +Race through the streets of Helm's Hold in an infernal vehicle! +Traverse the dread domains of Ravenloft! +Infiltrate Grudd Haug, the mountain giant capital! This campaign is one of my favorites and I can't wait to see how well you survive it! Or if you even do! It is all your call!

About me
Hello adventurers! My name's Jacob and I've been running TTRPGs for over a decade with five years of experience full time GM-ing. With a long background in theatre as well as a former designer of escape rooms, I bring a wealth of experience to every game I run. My focus is on making a fun and satisfying story regardless of player history with the game. No matter whether your characters are trekking through a mountain pass, exploring the furthest reaches of space or even attending a spooky summer camp, you should be experiencing a well crafted adventure you will never forget! I also bring an attentive eye to representation within the game space. As a former organizer and field director for numerous political campaigns, I have fought for this first hand and will not let it go unnoticed in my games. There is a wide spectrum of games I have played and run varying from DND (5e and 3.5), Pathfinder (1e and 2e), Doctor Who, Kids on Bikes, Honey Heist, Mutants and Masterminds, Call of Cthulhu, Wet Hot American Summer, Everything Is Dolphins, Fallout RPG and much, much more. I look forward to crafting unique gaming experiences in these wildly different worlds exclusively for you!

Creating your character
Character creation will happen as a part of Session Zero. I would highly recommend bringing a character concept or two but we will do it collectively to allow us to integrate personal and group backstory into the campaign proper.
What to expect
Preparing for the session
The game will be done through Discord with the use of Owlbear.Rodeo and D&D Beyond. With that in mind, you will need a working internet connection. I would recommend a working microphone, headset and a computer. You may use your own dice or digital dice.
What Jacob Cordas brings to the table
I will bring a fully rendered version of this adventure, highlighting its dynamic epic scale and dramatic twist and turns. I have ran both long and short campaigns in this setting falling deeply in love with it. I greatly look forward to sharing with you the nightmares waiting.

Safety
How Jacob Cordas creates a safe table
This campaign is filled with the nightmares of a world barely surviving. To make that as much fun as possible, safety is of the utmost importance. We will first do a full session zero where players will fill out the Monte Cook RPG Consent Checklist. From there, we will use a variation of the X, N, and O Cards called Yellow/Red Cards and an Open Door Policy while we play. Finally the game will feature a regular scheduled mid-game break to aid with pacing and avoid bleed.
