About the adventure
After the War of Arcanum, the continent of Qdar fell under the rule of the Godhood — thirteen gods who reshaped the land into a strict theocracy. Their will is carried out by divine apostles, and their most feared law is the Spellcaster Decree: No commoner may wield magic without a sanctioned license. Only those blessed by a temple may cast spells, and anyone else caught using magic is hunted by the ruthless Holy Inquisitors. But rebellion stirs. A secret faction known as the Angels of Arcana fights to break the gods’ control, striking temples and unraveling divine authority across Qdar. After the attack in Berrington, The Godhood’s Holy Inquisition was dispatched. Attacks by the Angels of Arcana on temples increased, and talks of raising the forbidden Gods stirred Your story begins in Greenburrow, a cheerful halfling town celebrating the 10‑year anniversary of the Temple of Two Faces. Beneath the festival lights, tension simmers — temples have been attacked, relics stolen, and the Angels of Arcana are moving closer than anyone realizes. As the campaign unfolds, the party will uncover the Angels’ ultimate goal, the depth the Inquisition is willing to go to stop them, and the truth of the War of Arcanum and the Gods that were said to have died. Will you stand with the Inquisition, protect the innocent, or embrace the chaos that seeks to reshape the world? This is a sequel to The Draw of Death one-shot I run, but you do not have to have played to be a part of this campaign.

Meet the Game Master
About me
I’ve been playing TTRPGs for over 10 years, both as a player and a Dungeon Master. In that time, I’ve run multi‑year campaigns that carried my players from level 1 all the way to level 15 and beyond! I have also run numerous one‑shots, mini‑arcs, and experimental sessions. Most of my experience is with D&D 5e and 5.5e, though I’ve also dipped into Pathfinder and enjoy exploring new systems. If you’re looking for a GM who brings energy, story depth, character focus, and a genuine love for the game, I’d be excited to run an adventure for you.

Creating your character
During your free session 0, we will go over the type of character you want to you want to make, go over their backstory and ingrain them into the campaign world. Mechanically, I will send everyone a campaign link to Dndbeyond, which will give you access to all of the D&D books I own on that site. I only use official D&D for balancing reasons but there are a ton of official books, and I own most of them. If there is a character option that you want to use that you do not see but would like to use, let me know and I will purchase the material so that you can play the character you want to play.
What to expect
Preparing for the session
You will need a dndbeyond account, which you can make for free. This is where you will make your character and where I will run the VTT during combat. You will also need a discord so we can communicate inside and outside of the game.
What GM Jasen brings to the table
I will provide a unique amazing experience that you will remember forever. I do a vast array of character voices; I have a fantasy playlist on YouTube that will help set the mood for every scene. I also provide a library of D&D content on dndbeyond that will allow you to create the character you want to play as.
Homebrew rules
We will go over any homebrew rules during session 0. I usually allow drinking potions and swapping weapons as a bonus action. We can discuss using the optional flanking rule which players tend to want to use.

How GM Jasen creates a safe table
We will be going over safety rules during session 0. This campaign could get dark when it comes to violence but If at any point during the game you do feel uncomfortable, please send me a message on discord and we can skip any scene that bothers you. I want to make sure everyone feels comfortable, safe, and are having fun.
