About the adventure
Night City sits on the precipice of the 5th Corporate war, and from where you're standing, it doesn't look like anyone is gonna try to stop it. Everyone is antsy, and any gonk could be the spark that sets off this powder keg. You're just a person, a merc, a nomad, maybe even a back alley fixer, but you've always wanted more out of life. The corps and the gangs are all watching each other like hawks, and the first one to blink just might lose their head, so maybe this is your chance at the big leagues choom. This campaign will take place in Night City in 2078 following the events of 'Cyberpunk 2077'. It will be a sandbox style game with a story tailored to your character backstories and revolving around the choices you make in light of terrible and ever-changing circumstances. Just remember, Night City might be the place where legends are born, but it's also where they die in a blaze of glory.

About me
Hi, my name is Austin and I'm a lover of all things TTRPG related! My formal introduction to the hobby was running a campaign for classmates in high school around 10 years ago, along with finding some great Actual Plays. That being said, the groundwork was laid by my mother, who would play an extremely simple war game (using those little green soldier toys) with me before I was even in kindergarten. In the time since that first 5e campaign, I have been ravenously consuming any new (or old) system I can find, with a particularly strong love towards obscure and niche titles, (Even if I would likely never find a group to play them with!) I love systems that know exactly what experience they are trying to deliver, and have bespoke rules and systems to cater to the fantasy the game puts forward. Creating your character
We will create characters during a free session zero. It will be standard character creation, with the PC's starting at Rank 4 in their chosen role.
What to expect
Preparing for the session
Voice chat will be handled via a Discord server, so a discord account is required. We will be using Owlbear Rodeo for the VTT side of things, which only requires a computer and internet access!
What Traveler's Trove brings to the table
I do character voices, sometimes silly ones, I also sometimes use Voicemod if need be. Immersive ambient music and sound effects will be provided by Syrinscape. Combat will be tactical, with plenty of room for player creativity (Breach that wall choom!). While we will largely stick to rules as written, I am truly a sucker for a cinematic and cool moments, so expect some rule of cool! Maps will be provided from several creators that I am subscribed to, including Czepeku!

How Traveler's Trove creates a safe table
Everyone will be sent Monte Cooke RPG Consent Checklists to fill out, then at session zero we'll discuss the finer points of campaign themes and what everyone is comfortable with, then we will build player characters as a group(Pregen characters will be available for new players!). X, N, & O's will be messaged either in the group chat or privately to me, whichever is more comfortable for you. After each session there will be a debrief and we will go over Stars & Wishes.
